Nikki Meyer, founder of Equity Assets Realty, is a businesswoman like no other.

A native of Wyoming, Nikki moved to the Rio Grande Valley in the late 90s with her husband, Scott, a long time resident of the area. Coming from a long line of developers, it was Scott who first introduced Nikki to the world of realty and brokerage.

While her passion for the real estate industry was ignited during this time, her career was placed on hiatus. That was, until, her children began school. Like a storm that had been brewing for years, Nikki earned her real estate license in 2005 and entered the industry with an intent and determination that few could match.

Nikki worked for a brokerage firm for many years, putting in the necessary time to earn her stripes. While these early stages of her career were essential to her development as an expert broker, Nikki realized that the Rio Grande Valley was ready for a new type of full-service brokerage firm; one that truly valued the buyers and sellers they worked with. She was ready to create a company that would be built on good faith, honesty, hard work, and a commitment to establishing real relationships with its clients.

The Valley was growing tremendously and it was time for Nikki to fulfill her dreams. While the leap to becoming a business owner was a bit intimidating, she had faith in her abilities. Thus, in 2011, Equity Assets Realty was officially formed.
